The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) has archival staff across the Infrastructure, State Parks, and Support Resources Divisions in order to maintain the varying archival records generated by the agency as it carries out the mission to manage and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Texas. State Parks preserves and provides access to administrative history, artifacts, ephemera, oral histories, photographs from 1930s to today- like this scanned 35mm slide of a family fishing event at Sheldon Lake State Park.
